"The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows. The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated. The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. "Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "

"This place was a dump. It smelled if sewage and the owner/manager was rude and arrogant. He sent an invoice for GBP20 for an early check-in, we were there an hour early, he gave us the key and never said a thing; good luck with that !!!. The menu was pathetic. We didn't eat there at all. Horrible experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, but the sewage smell was unbearable. Never again, whoever owns this place needs a new manager, if the manager is the owner this place can't...
