"The rooms are clean and comfortable. But communication is poor. I booked a room through Expedia and selected a room with photos of a king bed and pullout couch. When I arrived, I was told that my room only had the king bed and was asked if I wanted to upgrade. I asked to change to a room with either 2 queens or a king with a pullout couch. Then they told me they were at capacity and had no other rooms, but they could make the change if I came back the next day. This same conversation happened...

"This place is awesome. Reminds me of the old inns in Cape May, NJ. I checked in on an unusually warm day in Boston and the staff offered me a cooler room on a lower floor. So kind! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot with good water pressure, and it was quiet. Great, walkable neighborhood as well! I’d definitely stay here again."

"We stayed at the property for 2 nights. We stayed on the second floor. We got excited at first because the room was pretty nice, the furniture and the bathroom were brand new. However, our room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We called the front desk and the housekeeping, and they didn't do anything. So we had the same towels for 2 nights. The restaurant was booked for parties on both nights, so we couldn't use it. The worst part was the second night of our stay. The party and the music...

"Our room very old, including furniture with squeaky bed and chair. FYI, no a/c., but was not needed this time of year, so not a problem for us. Overall it did the trick and there morning spread was nice, although we had other plans so did not partake."

"The place was spacious, clean, quiet , and conveniently located, near to supermarkets and public transport. We stay for Boston marathon 5 nigths so price was much higher than normal, this means that even it was a good place to stay , it was very expensive. We were 2 persons but it only has 1 chair, no sofa or any other place to sit. This was my only issue."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location and its breakfast. It is right in the middle of Brighton and 5 minutes or less from the B Green Line and 10 minutes from the C Green Line. "The room was small but ok for what I wanted for the price. The shared bathroom was the issue it had multiple tiles in the floor missing which I did not notice until stepping on a sharp end. Also the room did offer any isolation from road noise from the highways."

"Booked it for just 1 night. Attended a concert at the MGM 2 miles away. No street parking, its downtown Boston. We paid 38 bucks for overnight parking around the corner. Property was clean, but no heat, no hot water. March in Boston is freezing. The host answered fast w generic answers about heat n hot water."

"Hervorragende Lage zur Straßenbahn und nicht weit zum Fenway Park. Das Bad zu Zimmer 7 lag auf der anderen Seite des Flurs. Zimmer 7 liegt an der Straße. Dort fährt die Straßenbahn vorbei. Das Fenster war mit Tape „abgedichtet“ und enthielt ein fingerdickes Loch. Mit anderen Worten: ohne sehr gute Ohrenstöpsel hätte ich kaum geschlafen."
