"This is the premiere hotel for a stay in Raton. We stay here for five days each year, and always come back for the friendly staff, good service, and good value. The hotel is very clean and modern. The restaurant serves a great breakfast each morning and has a good menu for lunch and dinner too. The beds are comfortable and there's lots of parking (all uncovered). The wall mount A/C unit can be a little noisy, but does a good job of keeping the temp. Even though the hotel is close to the freeway, it's a quiet property--you won't be bothered by any traffic noise.We appreciated the laundry and the gym. The indoor pool is usually quite busy with kids and families, but quiets down by 10 PM and wasn't a bother to us--if you're an early to bed person, make sure to get a room at the other end of the hotel so the voices won't keep you up. "
