"We spent six days at the Retro and had a group of 10 people; one of our couples was in the room with the full kitchen and an outside patio. We took over the patio and used the BBQ. We played pool, cribbage, foosball, and sat and visited on the couches. We played corn hole and sat on the lawn by Elvis. We flew in to Cortez and rented a car from Rentz Rental. We did day trips to Mesa Verde, Aztec Mesa, and Telluride. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and we totally enjoyed our stay. The rooms were...

"Staying on the river was unique and watching rafts float by. Idaho Springs is a lovely town. The staff was helpful as pillows were lumpy first night but they provided new pillows and then everything was great. Bathrooms need an update and towel racks needed help . Other then that a great place and location to stay and I would stay again"

"Staff at front desk was very unhelpful, I had to get my key card reactivated every night. (I was only given 1 card) When checking in they ran the card without telling us anything I only knew the price from booking online,I was never given a receipt. The pool was closed the whole time, but the sign up said closed for a day. I understand they were painting outside but it was still disappointing."

"Found blood on our pillowcase which tells me the bed probably wasn’t fully turned over. The temperature wouldn’t regulate and honestly the room just felt dirty. The front desk girl was very nice and helpful though."

"It could use a remodel of tile in bathroom...still had good tile. .what i liked most was that it was immaculate. Housekeeping staff were friendly and smiled and spoke every time I saw them..I stayed 5 nights. .good experience...I would stay there again.."
