The premium upgrade is basically futile, you’re only entitled to a robe, a couple soft drinks in your fridge and the ability to reserve a spot in a slightly upgraded dining experience. "Great pool area with an amazing view, nice rooms with great balconies and sea view"

"I stayed in a newly renovated Privilege Room, which had access to a private lounge and restaurant offering à la carte menus and breakfast options each day. This add-on was a nice touch and provided a quiet place to enjoy meals away from the busy buffet restaurant. I also liked the spa and the range of treatments. However, all the beaches surrounding the hotel (including the hotel beach at Playa Esmeralda) attract nudists. I found this to be very unpleasant."
