Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. "You will be staying in a section of a large resort. Your room may well be in amongst the all-inclusive families. Not an issue for us but if you are expecting exclusive adults only, then this is not the place for you. If you are expecting 5 star luxury, then this is not it. Don't spend money on a "premium/luxury" sunbed, the system felt like a scam, the service was terrible. We enjoyed sitting in the sun, we enjoyed breakfast and our room but anything app or service related ended up being met...

"The restaurant staff were very good, but the food wasn’t great. The pool lifeguard with the towels was so rude nearly every day. It’s a shame you don’t get basic amenities in the room like water and better bathroom amenities. "

"Great property with equally spectacular views of the ocean, golf course and mountains! Rooms are spacious and well-appointed! Dining options are abundant - from an informal pool side cafe to a fancy, multi course dinner tasting menu! Lots of places to lounge - poolside or to stare off at the views. Check-in process was a tad long for my taste but overall a 9.9!!"

"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

"Amazing breakfast and dinner. Spotless! You can feel the hotel had its splendid times in the past with all good quality finishings of the room and jetted bath. The resort has many things for a family holiday including tennis court, small but good gym, kids club, big pool for families and all the entertainments for kids as well. "Almost everything was perfect. Great location with fantastic views, bed big and comfortable, overal the room was fantastic. Food was very good for a buffet with a huge choice that changed daily. Drinks are a reasonable price but limited beer choice, especially if you’re a bit fussy in that area.
