"Location Location Location! Beautiful property nestled into the side of the rainforest! Very close to the Beaches and Luquillo Kiosk. El Yunque National Rainforest is next door."

"Unfortunately this was not a pleasant stay at all..we weren’t there long before we booked an alternative hotel and moved the next day. Firstly - there was no staff when we got there. The room did smell like it had been cleaned and was tidy but the smell of disinfectant was really strong therefore not pleasant. The hotel was really dated and the front door of the hotel was like an old UPVC door that did not shut properly or lock and with no reception staff, we just didn’t feel particularly safe during the night therefore didn’t sleep well, although that may also have been due to the small hard bed we were on. You could hear everything outside the room and I heard a guest tell who I assume was the cleaner that he had cut himself pretty badly on something from his bathroom and there was a lot of blood (on the towels). This made me uneasy as to what he cut himself on as it sounded like it was something from the room, not his stuff. Our showers hot water tap only worked if you turned the cold tap enough therefore making the shower cold. And when I went to dispense the soap, the dispenser broke. Safe to say we were up and out before 9am and moved to a different hotel/location which allowed us to salvage the last part of our trip. I get it’s a 2 star place and maybe my expectations were too high but for what we paid, it just didn’t reflect the experience. I’m just gutted I didn’t realise until it was too late and wasted our money."

"Wow, wow, WOW! This is what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for something better than everyone else, this mid century modern style home, in the middle of an unbelievable rain forest, with chef’s class breakfast served and a pool with the direct view of the ocean is your place. We spend a long weekend with Pablo and Maribel as they accommodated our honeymoon and birthday trip, and it was unbelievable. Choice of savory and sweet breakfast varies every day. There is plenty of space, serenity and nature views galore. Perfect spot for El Yunque and the mountain trips, with a beautiful and clean beach just 10 minutes away. "

"This was our 1st experience in PR. This house was AMAZINGLY beautiful and really show cased the outdoor space!! It was VERY clean, high quality linens. Had a nice cook space. The space it self was STUNNING!! The outdoor space was PERFECTION!!!! We actually booked for the lounge net area, and it did not disappoint!! **Downfalls [we understand that somethings are out of anyones control so more of a FYI] -There was nothing "comfy" about the house. It is all cement: bed frame, entire bathroom so alot of sharp edges, the sitting area had maybe 3 inch foam with a canvas topper. When the floor had ANY moisture and you are bare foot YOU WILL FALL! In the master bath between the mirrors have open spaces straight to outside no glass or screen. Which allows natural to come inside the house. Lizards and frogs find there way inside daily. The doors are super heavy, difficult to open but again its a giant piece of glass of course its heavy. At no time did we feel unsafe, with that being said you are literally on top of a mountain alone. And thats scary to think about. Lets talk about the road. I had never been to PR so i was not aware of how tight and tiny the roads are. The drive to the house is TIGHT & STEEP!! Some areas are so steep our tires would slip while going up the incline! Only rent a SUV, our 4 door Nissan HARDLY made it, returned it for a SUV our 2nd day. Roads are unmarked and HARD to see the edge. The cell service on the way comes in an out as you go, dont rely on it. "
