"One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. Absolutely lovely, just like the pictures! I will say of all the places we have been in Italy, this was the most authentic and real Italian stay. "The property is gorgeous. There is no prettier setting. The food and wine were excellent. We found the service marginal at best. It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. "We stayed one night. Unique location - no concerns. We enjoyed the spacious updated bathroom. Minimal contact with staff. Very quiet. Limited amenities. We did take ourselves on a little tour of historic rooms in the building. Would have appreciated if there was more signage/explanations of the history of the building."
