Laura S Walker State Park

Laura s walker is just north of the Okefenokee national wildlife refuge and is home to one of the largest rookeries in the south east. The state park is a mecca of nesting birds. If your going to the Okefenokee it's worth a stop by just to see all the birds. The best time to go is winter and early spring, before the migrating birds fly back north.
