"My boyfriend and I had a great time here. The resort overall was very nice, although the room was definitely dated and felt a bit musty. We enjoyed the pickleball courts and the ocean pool. Unfortunately the resort was fully booked during our visit so the pools and beach were very busy. The ocean pool was a nice escape as it was adults only and more quiet. The food was good, our favourite was the Mexican restaurant and the taco bar. We loved the nature and animals and had an amazing time overall!"

"3 males We worked with at check in reception were not helpful. When checking in they did not give us the basic information such as wifi information. Then the room we were in all of a sudden the wifi stopped working and we had reported this issue over 5 times throughout the day and no one came to repair it. We did not have wifi connection, the room phone did not work and tv was not working as well for the last 2 days. This was so inconvenient for our stay. Will not be returning to this RIU again."

"We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Hotel Xcaret Arte. We received to fill out the list of activities, and we did it, we said the reason to visit this hotel. The day of our anniversary we went to a restaurant for dinner and to celebrate, they asked if we are celebrating something and we told them, but nothing happen, no celebration, at least we expected a plate with piece of cake and letter say "Happy anniversary" or something, but nothing. For me I do not care, but for my wife is a big deal. We tried to do this kind of trip for the last five years and this is the first time that nothing happens, very disappointed. We have a picture where we celebrate with a piece of cake our anniversary each but not this time. I know Xcaret wants to charge for everything, but for a piece of cake saying Happy Anniversary is too much. And we left a Tip to the Waitress for nothing. And is worst when see a lot of videos from other people that celebrate birthdays of Anniversaries with those kinds of attentions that we did not have. "

"The Ventus Ha part of this El Cid complex is the newest and most chilled. There are 4 pools, 2 main pools and 2 rooftop infinity pools. The rooms are large and clean and housekeeping keep them that way. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had the Platinum package, which comes with butlers to help you with reservations or whatever you want really. My butlers were Saul and You can eat in all of the restaurants across the El Cid complex, but my favourite was Aakat, the staff and food at this restaurant are the best! The Kobo is also good and you can ask for a vegetarian option here too. I also had lovely meals at Marina and Il de France. There are lots of activities such as, bike rides into town, aquafit, tai chi, spanish lessons, all free across the El Cid sites. Pool chairs were never an issue and bar service around the pool is okay. If I did have one area where I think they could improve, it would be the standard of the house wines. I was travelling by myself for this trip, so didn't want to buy a whole bottle for myself for the evening meal and had to stick to house wines. That said, staff aren't stingy with the wine and are always happy to top up if you like more than one glass with your meal. Ventus Ha is a great place to spend your vacation. I recommend it and will be coming again in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay."
