"Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful.
The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended.
It was also a great base to see the South west of Mauritius, lots of sights within a close drive.

"Absolutely beautiful jungle like lication of small property in the grounds of a stunning Chateau , that edges the Heritage golf course. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed and lush pillows. Bathroom lovely, huge shower. We took a walk around the grounds of the chateau, which was so swrene and beautiful. There was a member of staff from the hotel, who was making fishing rods from bamboo. "Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive. June appears to be off season so the resort wasn't sold out. Nice breakfast served by staff daily.
Hot water was solar generated so with 11 hours of sunlight and clouds, we generally missed the hot water. There were only two outlets in the room. One near the floor under the desk and one by the bathroom sink so charging electronics and heating hot water for coffee and tea was a challenge."
