"Superb 15th century chateau in 'France Profonde'. The hosts most helpful and welcoming. Beautiful grounds and a large swimming pool. Breakfast served in an elegant dining room, there is a salon for your use too. Would advise booking a restaurant in advance in one of the nearby villages."

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. "Good choice for exploring the Loire valley, chateaux, town and cities. Loches is a vibrant town with lots of shops and bars. There is a train station right by the residence if you need to get around and don't have a car."
