This hotel was perfectly located and central, my room was comfortable with good air-conditioning and very clean. I was traveling alone and had no concerns for safety and many places to eat were just steps away from the hotel. "Personal beim Check in hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zimmer war sauber und schön . Hotel macht eine gepflegten Eindruck. Ein Minus Punkt gab es die Klo spülung lief manchmal vom selbst was nachts störend war .Sie hörte aber immer wieder von selbst auch wieder auf"

"The room was nice and spacious as well as the bathroom. My only complaint was the air conditioner in the room. It didn’t cool very well. Also, the buffet breakfast was wonderful but a bit pricey. $26.62. Overall it was convenient to most everything."

"I had a lovely stay in Stern am Rathaus. Highlights were an excellent breakfast and extra details made by the cleaning staff (such as hanging up my coat and hat for me). One point to note is that the cathedral bells are quite loud, though it wasn't a disturbance."

"The hotel location is ideal, in the center of the city, on a picturesque plaza with views to the cathedral, yet quiet for a good night sleep. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Bonus-The free espresso was excellent. Highly recommended!"

"The breakfast was great. Our room was a little weird. There was a motion detector light that kept being set off inside our room. Our air conditioner was a little too loud for us so we had to turn it off. But the hotel is old and beautiful."

"Efficient hotel in the center -but not quite- of Cologne. You may walk to main city landmarks. Find restaurants idem. The Rhine pretty much next door. Ample rooms, comfy beds. Helpful and accommodating staff. Very nice breakfast."

"Room was clean. Got a few sheets with stains on them but there was no big deal to swap them out. Very nice desk staff. Extra close to the cathedral and hauptbanhof. Would stay again if back in köln. No fridge in the room and no ac, the fan worked very well however so no worries there, even in 90°f heat."

"We stayed one night at the Hilton and the rest of the trip at the Hyatt in Cologne. I was a little bit concerned about some of the reviews regarding getting stolen in the lobby/restaurant, but our trip was smooth with no issues. The room was spacious but a little bit outdated. The towels have stinks. I do like their heated towel rack though. To be noted, you have to pay for the water in the room."

"Perfekte Lage für ein Stadt-Wochenende. Parkhaus im Hotel und Straßenbahn, U-Bahn und Bus vor der Tür. Prima Zimmer mit gutem King Bett, sauberes Bad mit großer Dusche. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Gerne wieder!"
