"3 of us flew in and out of Amsterdam from Calgary, Canada as part of a great adventure to Africa. The Hotel is clean, good location to the Airport, amenities were fine.
Upon arrival on May 14th (staying 2 nights in 2 rooms) the front desk clerk saw that we were exhausted from our overnight flight and allowed us to get into our rooms early and not be charged. We VERY much appreciated that and I gave a good review because of it.
On our return May 28 (1 night/2rooms) we rolled into Ozo exhausted after a 9 hour overnight flight, hoping again we could get into our rooms early.
Nope, different clerk.
The ‘rules’ clearly state we’d have to pay $10 Euro ‘per hour’ ahead of check-in. We mentioned that it was our second time staying at the Hotel in 2 rooms in 2 weeks and that the previous clerk let us in early…. And, begrudgingly, were offered to ‘only’ pay $30 Euro to get into 1 of the rooms.
We paid, but I think Ozo really missed an opportunity to deliver service that will definitely bring us back."
