"Such a lovely hotel/townhouse to stay for adults. It’s unique, clean, cozy and many shops and restaurants nearby making it a convenient location when you are visiting Edinburgh. It is also near the tram stop.
I would advise travellers with big luggages to book the rooms on the lower floor as there are no lifts available and will be difficult to carry luggages if room(s) book will be on the ascending floors.

"Good location, but not if you’re driving. There is parking but it’s only useful on the weekend.
Winding hall + stairs were a little problematic, and the small room proved to be a challenge with unpacking and repacking. The hot water is HOT. Do not leave your kids with it.

"Clean room and bathroom well equiped. There were only two of us in the room. I think three would have been too tight. The room had a single and double bed. Very quiet at night, close to lots of restaurants and the tram was only a minute or two away to get into the centre.

"The bed was very comfortable and the linens were perfectly clean, which I appreciated. However, I would strongly advise wearing slippers in the bedroom and bathroom. The floors were quite dirty, and specifically, there were dried urine stains on the bathroom floor around the toilet. It’s clear that the cleaning is not done thoroughly."
