"Perfect location, terrible property. The historic nature of it is cool, but still disappointed by what we experienced here. Staff was decent, Mack the night attendant was the best. The chef who won them a couple Michelin Plates (stars for hotels) is no longer employed here, and they no longer offer dinner service at all. This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”....

However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it."

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay in room 308. The staff was very accommodating of our late check-in when our flight was delayed. Room 308 is up two flights of narrow stairs which wasn't a problem for us since we didn't have heavy luggage. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved the soaking tub. The bed is higher than normal but they provide a step stool. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room but it was not unusual for being an old house, and it didn't bother me after the first night....

The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. We originally booked a 2BR, but while we were en route to Savannah, The Grant reached out and offered an upgrade for a flat fee — and it was worth every penny.The space was beautifully appointed and stocked with everything we needed: coffee and creamer, laundry pods, dish tabs, trash bags — all the little things that make it feel like a home, not a hotel. "Good a/c and great location. We prefer the charm of historic buildings, and the place has loads of character. Bits of chipped paint and dents in walls can be overlooked. Did not like the shower curtain liner’s mold spots or the paint flecks on the bathroom floors, which indicated a gap in housekeeping/maintenance."

"This hotel is so conveniently located.. just a couple minutes from SCAD, Riverfront, and Broughton St. The staff are wonderful and hotel is very clean. Has everything you need for an extended stay. Restaurant is conveniently located across the breezeway. All in all a great place to stay"
