"We enjoyed our stay at East Bay Inn. Location is unbeatable, across the street from River St and walkable to the surrounding downtown area. Debis, the hotel restaurant, was delicious. They also give you a complimentary drink at the bar which was nice. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was modern. Everything was very clean. The staff were all super friendly. We definitely plan to stay here again!"
"It was very historic, clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable! Our room had a private elevator, which was super cool and also very convenient. The staff is excellent. Great place for a relaxing get-a-way! "
"Food was delicious. Nicole was a great house manager. She cooked, cleaned and was so friendly. We really enjoyed her company . We actually invited her to sit with us as she was so nice. "Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Amenities were awesome. Always cold bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea available. Breakfast were delicious! Nice courtyard area for sitting and breakfast. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood with walking ease to restaurants and shops.
Would definitely recommend!"

"2nd visit; love this hotel. I do not eat at the hotel restaurants; not my vibe. However, that whole entire historic area is extremely walkable and there is so much to do, see and eat. The hotel is very nice, extremely clean and comfortable; definitely worth every penny. I would stay here again and again. "We won't stay anywhere else in Savannah. What a value! Full breakfast each morning, apps and wine in the evening, and dessert at night. Friendly staff, beautiful historic house, comfortable bedroom with a fireplace--what else could we want?"
"What an incredibly adorable place and room. It was comfy, cozy and wonderful. Great bed and shower! My husband and I enjoyed this place immensely! You can walk around to everything and the trees, homes and places are fantastic and fabulous. "

The building is old (of course, since its historic Savannah), but modernized and renovated to where it becomes a very vibrant blend of old and new. Some of the items in the unit (ones we didn't use or need) were in need of replacement like cookware and some of the other utensils, etc. but that didn't bother us. The building can be a bit noisy from unit to unit or from outside, but it was quiet when...
