"The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order."

"I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada."

"We stayed for one night our room (2)was really lovely massive comfy bed plenty of space for clothes. The bathroom was beautiful. Staff very helpful. Breakfast really nice .can't fault it to be honest .the pub downstairs was terrific with a good choice of beers wines and all spirits.would we stay here again?yes in a heartbeat 10/10 from us"

The staff were good, but I don’t think there were enough of them to run the hotel, so as a result some things, such as the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were poor. I want to be very clear that I would attribute this to staffing levels, and not to any individual members of staff. The carpet in our room was filthy, with lots of stains and what I presume/hope was some food smeared and dried in to the carpet, which I don’t...

"Two bulbs were not working so clothes unit and te a are were in the dark.The bathroom rack was red rusty where the towels were placed.Bathroom shelf was chipped all way along the edge.Needs repairs."
