It’s beautiful, absolutely stunning in its layout with a gorgeous breakfast every morning stretching along the river. It’s well appointed and calming. The second is that the personal service is exceptional. Staff greet you by name, they remember your preferences - all the things that make a second and third visit even better. They are responsive, which is even more important. And lastly, their location is perfect. Their riverboat tender continuously runs across the river to the ferry dock and other key locations. That’s our preferred way to travel. The local ferry is about 80 cents and will take you everywhere. They are set back from the rod about is quiet and serene. It is not a brand new hotel. It is handsome and has some age showing in little places. But with that comes wisdom. It knows how to treat guests and to respond in advance - and oxymoron I now. But it’s true. It’s the kind of hotel that anticipates what you may need and as a result the service is endlessly great. "

"The sweet treats and complimentary beer were a lovely surprise. The attentiveness and kindness of the staff made the stay so much more pleasant. For our dinner we got complimentary chocolates as well and birthday treat that was so delicious, I might’ve just had too many chocolates but they were too delicious to not accept. "

"We stayed in a basement room which was a little small and dark but the location is very handy and quiet. "

"Room was spotless, though a little outdated - same with the club lounge. Club lounge provided beer, wine and spirits & mixers. Staff were all very courteous. Easy check in. Hotel close to a sky train station, bus stop and plenty of taxis & tuk-tuks around also. Having a balcony on the 56th floor made our stay incredible, especially with the river view! Made our special trip, extra special. Only downfall is the sky bar is very busy and guests there use the same lifts - sometimes a bit of wait to get in the lift when on certain floors but staff tried to ensure guests staying at hotel were a priority. Would DEFINITELY stay here again ! "
