"The staff was very helpful, we arrived late at 9pm, We had reserved a renovated large room and they were able to upgrade to a room with air conditioning. It had a wonderful Lake view from the bed and balcony. And a brand new large bathroom, 12ft high ceilings, still in its original state. It was exactly what we were looking for. A very heritage building. Only thing, no coffee machine in the room, but amenities downstairs were excellent, and wonderful coffee and service, I brought it up to the room, then we would go down for breakfast. Restaurants were very nice, helpful staff and good food. I recommend this hotel."

"I was honestly surprised by how lovely this stay was, after reading some of the reviews. If I had known how great this hotel was, I probably would have planned to stay longer! The woman working at reception was delightful and funny. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a fan, an iron and ironing board, as well as the usual amenities. The room had a balcony with chairs that was very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was classy and had a great view. I have no complaints at all! Highly recommend this place."

"This hotel was the one-night magical stay we were hoping it would be. It felt like a well-maintained step back in time. The breakfast and restaurant were lovely, the staff were very friendly, and the grounds were STUNNING. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was to sit at the restaurant and to be outside - the flowers, the views, the touches. Absolutely loved it! My only disappointment was that we were there for our honeymoon, and even after contacting them before, the hotel didn't acknowledge that in any way. Overall, would recommend it to someone wanting a special "off the beaten path" stay."
