The communication was very good once we were at the accommodation. The rooms were efficient and very much met our needs. The room was as presented on the website. Housekeeping was regular and available yet on demand. Options exist for meals and those that participated, they appeared to very much enjoy the ambiance. Lots of casual areas in the hotel to spend some time between activities. A casual accommodation which has excellent location for jumping off up and down the Chamonix valley and beyond.

Great stay with the family
Last minute booking for a ski holiday in St Gervais. 25 minute drive to the ski gondola from the hotel. Hotel staff absolutely fantastic. Lobby area lovely with the heat off the big fire, games for the kids and the smell of Vin Chaud and fresh pancakes wafting!! Rooms are an adequate size for a family of four with a fantastic view of the mountains. Plenty of fresh towels for everyone. Restaurant food very traditional and cheesy!! Delicious and very reasonably priced. Nothing negative to say about this wee gem of a hotel. Dont know why its only a two star.

The hotel has very nice amenities and views, but the rooms are very small. Additionally, the pictures on Expedia don't accurately represent the reality. It's important to double-check the room size before booking. The room you eventually get may not match what you saw in the pictures. I spoke to the staff about it, and they mentioned that Expedia didn't put the correct pictures on their site. So, don't be surprised if you don't get the exact room you were hoping for.

The hosts and all the staff were very warm and friendly. The shuttle service to and from the ski lifts and the train station made things so easy. Nice fireplace downstairs gives the Chalet a welcoming atmosphere. It’s close to Chamonix, just jump on the FREE train, it’s only a few stops. Definitely a place to come back to .

Great getaway in the mountains
This hotel was great. The location is amazing (although you have to drive, there isn't anything super close by). The point is that you are in the Alps looking up at Mont Blanc from your hotel bed. The view is incredible. Our room was one of the larger 4 person ones, so lots of space, large double door out to balcony view of valley and mountains. The beds were comfortable with nice duvets. We slept with doors open to fresh mountain air under the duvet. Super awesome sleep. The bath room was nice enough with very large soft towels. The shampoo/body wash worked great for him, maybe she would like her own (as typical). The couple that runs the place are SUPER friendly and helpful and speak well-enough English that we could communicate very well (we don't speak much French). The breakfast was very good, a typical French hotel breakfast plus scrambled eggs and some cooked potatoes and homemade jam that was just excellent. The bread was fresh and great as expected at a French hotel. VERY good fresh plain yogurt, the best of this trip. The hotel is even nicer inside than that photos online suggest. This would be a great place for a romantic getaway.

Our check in was amazing. The staff was so friendly. They extended our check out and we’re able to do our laundry for us. Everything was delightful. And a very easy walk from city center

Wonderful, friendly owners, fabulous views
Absolutely wonderful hotel with the kindest owners. Carina & Vincent couldn’t do enough to make guests feel welcomed. Set back from the road it’s wonderfully quiet. Make sure you get a Mountain View, you won’t be disappointed. We’d definitely stay again.

Μοναδική εμπειρία, υπέροχη τοποθεσία. Καταπληκτικό ξενοδοχείο στο οποίο μείναμε ενα βράδυ μόνο δυστυχώς. σίγουρα θα το επέλεγα ξανά. Το μόνο που βρήκαμε λάθος ήταν το εστιατόριο το οποίο ηταν πανέμορφο αλλά οι τιμές σε σχέση με την ποσότητα του φαγητού ήταν πολύ υψηλές.

Vincent, staff, and stay - all amazing!
Vincent and staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating. They were even kind enough to allow me to practice my French with them! Though, my review would not do our stay justice if it were in French so English will have to do. Their recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area were top notch. The hotel itself was very charming, affordable, and comfortable. And the breakfast was super! If I’m in the Chamonix-Mont Blanc area again, I will absolutely stay here!

Hôtel très sympa qui gagne à être connu. Selon nous il mériterait une 3ème étoile. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment très bon et nous nous sommes régalés dans leur restaurant. Les chambres étaient aussi très bien. Bref un sans faute pour nous et nous reviendrons.

This was a very nice surprise. The hotel is in a wonderful location, the room had a fantastic view, the restaurant was excellent and the personnel super kind and efficient. We were there with a grandson, plus occasionally a granddaughter, plus an elderly dog, and everybody was helpful and smiling. Highly recommended.

La situation de l'hôtel est parfaite et la vue est magnifique. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'air climatisé dans les chambres, mais ce n'est pas grave car le personnel est adorable et les chambres confortables.
