"Convenient accommodation and parking to attend the opera at Glyndebourne.
Room comfortable, but difficult to open the windows, and there appeared to be damp in the bathroom floor below the cistern.
Good selection for the help-yourself buffet breakfast.
Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easily accessible, but very crowded on arrival at 2pm on a Friday afternoon."

"This place is fantastic. A truly independent pub. Superb home-cooked food. Good beer and wine. Excellent overnight accommodation. And wonderful all-round hospitality and service. Hats off to the landlord Jaz. Well worth the short detour from the South Downs Way."

"The property was lovely. We stayed in room 9 as it was located on the ground floor and I use a wheelchair, plenty of room. We had a snack Friday evening and it was lovely food. The staff were very friendly, chatty and accommodating. Easy to find. Definitely will stay here again."
