"room was clean, reception was clean and well kept. the hall way was clean and and well kept. it was a quiet hotel. the room was spotless and well kept. pillows were either to soft or too hard for me. I tossed and turned for 2 nights but i got some sleep. Breakfast was always ready and clean area, coffee was good. I would definitely stay here again."

"Need was a bit lumpy, fitted sheet was loose and little scratchy. Bathroom shower curtain hung over shower pan and resulted in a huge puddle on the floor. Liked the furniture, room was clean enough. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, maybe fewer options."

"Maid service was not good. We had to go to office on the 3rd day to get clean towels. Never made bed and didn’t empty trash. We took it out ourselves. Staff in office was great."

"The air conditioning wouldn’t switch to heat. It got pretty cold overnight. Woke up this morning and went to go take a shower, and the hot water did not work. I sat there and let it run for 10 minutes and still wouldn’t warm up. The room was in decent shape though"

"I recently stayed in a Choice brand hotel in Newark, NJ, which was a disappointment. My Northlands Motel booking involved a last-minute change of plans, and I didn’t realize it was part of the same chain, which isn’t the hotel brand I normally stay in. "Property is dated but well maintained. Our room was recently refurnished, with a very comfortable new bed. And fresh clean sheets. but we the walls were thin and we heard our neighbor’s tv all night until we got up at 6 am There was coffee in the office every morning at 6 but only powder creamer, not real milk. The manager Chris was very friendly and helpful. the motel honored my special request for extra blankets."

"The rooms are extremely small and there was no closet in the room merely hangers mounted on the wall. My room had unrepaired water damage on the ceiling which was peeling. The overall feel of the hotel was dated and not well maintained."
