"Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Only negative was, we felt, on our first couple of days at breakfast there seemed to be a shortage of staff, disorganisation, having to ask for things e.g. cups, teaspoons etc, also most empty tables still had dirty dishes on from previous guests, and we had to wait for one to be cleared on more than one occasion. We had booked a room for 4 people with a mezzanine loft for our daughters, but with the upgrade, the room had an additional bathroom and a high quality pull out sofa that came in handy when we had an unexpected visitor. I needed to check messages on Expedia for the instructions on how to get in the front door and get my room key. Entrance is small and requires going up a flight of stairs. "Check in was good. We had a generous sized room looking out onto the bay with a balcony but it came at a hefty price. The carpet was stained and the bathroom floor dirty in the corners. Items were replaced haphazzardly. No mugs in the room despite a kettle and we had to ask for these. Breakfast was adequate but slightly mean spirited, evidenced by tiny juice glasses and bowls for other items. Bar service was friendly and welcoming with, surprisingly, generous portions for the bar food."

"We loved our stay! The hotel itself is super cute with a nice seating and bar area in the lobby. The room was pretty decently sized, clean, and quiet. We had a balcony which came with some chairs and a small table which was great. The hotel staff was very nice and super helpful!
