"Lovely place, traditional coaching house with a nice restoration. Rooms spacious and clean, good decor. Staff friendly and a nice bar and breakfast room. Taxi to station £10 or 30 min walk. "

Feedback note- some confusion between kitchen and hotel services as to whether breakfast was included- kitchen disputed whether it was included which is a little awkward. "We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. "It was a special visit and we met family and friends for the Saturday lunch together. The restaurant staff really made us feel welcome and the food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly. A special mention form Charlotte who helped me arrange the event."
