"The location is wonderul! Beautiful views, and very peaceful. If you don't have a car its a long walk up the hill from Windermere. I had everything I needed for a relaxied stay. Obviously this is a hostel so you can't account for other noisy guests, however there is a policy to meep the noise down between 11pm and 7am. Breakfast looked good although I brought my own. The guest kitchen is quite small but is well equipped. Evening meals looked nice, but again I'd brought my own. There are three...

"Basic room but we had a balcony overlooking the river. We had a private room with our own bathroom. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Can't beat the location for the price. "

"Iust such a perfect settling. Accommodation is very basic, but wow! Gorgeous setting, lovely staff, completely hassle free. I only initially booked for one night , finished up staying for 3, and will be back!"
