"Ellie welcomed us warmly and efficiently. We stayed in "Penny's Attic" so it was perfectly situated for my daughter and her husband in the main room and me in the alcove. We even had the top floor deck all to ourselves - beautiful sea breeze was felt even if we couldn't see the ocean. Close walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served. The only constructive criticism is the bed in the alcove is terribly hard and really uncomfortable. ...

"Was awakened at 1:30 in the morning to a high powered vacuum and the next unit. When opened to door to see people in the hallway, staff said they had a water line burst in that unit and they were sorry. Sorry doesn't help you go back to sleep. "Literally the cutest little place!!! The back area has a little seating area with rocking chairs and a hammock and some nice cabanas for relaxing. The front check in area was very clean and it did not have that weird overly perfumed smell that a lot of independent hotels have. "The property was beautiful. It sits close to the road so we heard traffic a lot. Our bathroom was quirky. We had a room with a spa tub but the shower part was difficult to use. The faucet in the sink was difficult to work around...either splashed the floor or got my hair wet when I rinsed after brushing my teeth. The sunsets were incredible"

Wonderful waterfront views of St. Augustine, excellent staff and service, very nice breakfast with views of the Bridge of Lions located very close to everything. "Great hotel, great location. Customer service was great. Breakfast was good for the price. Great bar in the lobby the food was very good for dinner. Walking distance to great attractions.
Just be aware that the hotel offers complementary bikes, but they are not in conditions to be used flat tires and have rust and very dusty bikes. Mind you they have two good bikes in the front that they don’t allow you to use."

"Room seemed clean but bathroom had a stench of urine I feel they could have cleaned better . House keeping does not come to check in if you need your room cleaned I assumed they would as in most hotels . I left early for the day and when I walked in it was as is . I needed new towels and more toilet paper and trash to be taken out unfortunately I came back to the same. My sons bed had a bug crawling inside under his sheets as we where about to check out I turned out the sheets to make sure...
