"We had a nice stay. The bedding and rooms were very clean in our second room. The first room we were given had a sticky desk and a discolored toilet bowl - which according to staff was due to a cleaner that was used. It looked disgusting (as if residue had been there a long time) and we requested a new room. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy so it was beyond the typical fare. "Typical Holiday Express. Room was good nothing special. Breakfast was good and included. Again nothing special but if you’ve stayed at an Express you know what to expect. It’s not a Bob Evan’s or Denny’s but a decent selection of food and beverages. We asked the cleaning staff to make up the room and left $20 on the bed for their tip. "The pool was closed half of our stay. Ice machines were broken. Asked to have our room cleaned and fresh towels brought to our room-never happened. Called again and asked for towels to be brought up, they said I could come to front desk and get them, but they weren’t bringing them up. Went to get towels and asked why room wasn’t cleaned and towels brought up and I was actually told that if I didn’t like it, I could stay somewhere else! I couldn’t believe my ears! Terrible place to stay!"

"Date important:7/18. Facility if under major exterior construction which was not advertised in advance. This had several negatives. Parking lot contained trash and debris. Side entrance ways and surrounding hallways contained construction debris. Fire access doors auto closures were disconnected leaving staircase and hallway doors open that should have been closed. This was the most troubling. Staff was excellent, breakfast was fresh and staff member was working hard to keep stocked and clean....

"According to what I read, they were 11 miles away. It ended up being something like 28 miles away from the location that I was visiting. I found that the place was an older place and could have been cleaned up more. The rooms were not exactly clean. The sheets, the bad's the towels.All balls were well maintained and were comfortable.But I thought the place could use a clean job , especially at the sink in the shower"

"My room was clean, the staff was very nice and kind to me. No this was not a palace, there were some old fixtures and do not be fooled by the jetted tub listing--those need to be removed and repaired --but a good staff and awesome breakfast and quite stay in a good area with plenty of food and shopping options made this a home run for me"
