"The unit and location were nice. The main concern I have was that when there was a fire emergency in the building, the notification was very faint and I almost ignored it instead of evacuating. The phones were not working to call the front desk to ask about the faint noise I was hearing. This is a potential hazard and I suggest that it get fixed. "We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. "I had The Nut Cabin all to myself-very comfortable with all the needed essentials. The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗 I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
