"The town of Comfort has great small town vibes taking a person’s memory back to simpler times. We celebrated July 4th here and Hotel Giles was the perfect place to be. The hotel is close to a few eating establishments and very walkable to them. This hotel is clean and historic with very unique rooms. There is a cool courtyard for guests to enjoy. "This was such a unique find! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We stayed in cabin 6 and had a great view of the creek. The pool at the sister hotel was perfect for our kids to jump in and cool off. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The room was crisp and clean. The staff was so accommodating through text from the initial booking all the way through until checkout time. I highly recommend if you're looking for a weekend away in the hill country."

"The facility was totally misrepresented in Expedia. Based on the descriptions and photos and the 9.2 rating, we booked 7 nights in a “premier” room. The room we were given did not look even remotely like the photos. The “shower” was a cloth wrap around a free standing tub—away from walls with no grab bars, no place for soap/shampoo. The bathroom was a step down from the bedroom. My wife stumbled to her knees when she got up to use the bathroom at night because she missed the step in the dark....

"What a brilliant surprise it was to stay at Motel 6 in Kerrville! It was spotlessly clean, everything worked, the air con was easy to work and was not deafening, there was lots of space, the curtains blocked the light, the shower had great water pressure and most of all, the bed was so comfortable. There were also zero signs of bedbugs for those worrying about this - I checked. Will stay here again. Money well spent."
