Do not stay here! Especially if you have kids. We went in late December and it was so cold inside the apartment. It wasn’t even that cold outside. We could not even walk on the floor because that too was cold! We are from Canada so trust me when I say it was unbearably cold, it was! We had to book a whole separate hotel and the money used to book this hotel was a complete waste. I do not recommend.

A bit shabby but great location

I whatsapped the number provided for the hosts WhatsApp business account. Tried four times, never got a reply. No fan but it was provided when asked for in the shop downstairs. Shower was broken so you had to hold the hand shower. Slightly shabbier than expected due to broken picture frame etc. bathroom smelt of drains. Did the job for us for two nights as was in a great location and the bed was clean and comfy, but won’t be back

Very good communication with the hotel. It is not 24hour open, and I arrived after losing time, however, they sent very good instruction on how to enter. The room was very spacious, much bigger then the add sugested, like a little appartement, with livingroom and kitchenet. Very pictoresq area, but a bit away from the centwr, and very "up-hill"... i got my exersice for the day, if you know what I mean

Fin city- lejlighed i Lissabons gamle kvarter, lige ved siden af Castello de Sao Jorge. Der er flere små restauranter, caféer og souvenirs- butikker i området. Terrænet er ret kuperet. Der er en del støj i kvarteret. Det er muligt at komme rundt i byen med sporvogn, tuk-tuk eller taxi, hvilket ikke er særligt dyrt. Det lykkedes ikke at kommunikere via whats-app nummeret, som vi fik i booking mailen, men alt var helt som aftalt, da vi kom frem. Der var desuden nyttig information på skrift i lejligheden og personalet var venlige og behjælpelige ved eventuelle spørgsmål.

Lovely stay. Comfortable bed, clean apartment, suitable kitchen (fridge is very small. plan accordingly). Street noise is not that bad unless construction or trash trucks come rumbling through in the night. Excellent location - close to restaurants, sites and neighborhoods of Alfama. Would stay again and would recommend.

Apartment with great location

The apartment was large with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is directly opposite the castle and is a great location for exploring the Alfama area and lots of tourist attractions. However, the street is very noisy and as the windows are not sound proofed it is quite loud until about midnight. Our bed was also broken and had been put back together with a temporary fix, this meant it was not particularly comfortable to sleep on.

This is a very nice apartment with a full kitchen, living room or second bedroom, and a nice shower. It was clean and comfortable.. had high security multiple entry gates. Travellers should be aware it can be noisy as it's right by the main entrance to st. George's castle, (Castillo). It's right where busses unload. Also sometimes people party on the street until 11-12, later on weekends. As mentioned by the owner there is no sound proofing or AC in this unit, so you'll hear everything from outside. One other thing to be aware of staying here is that Uber or Bolt cannot enter this area. They can go 2 blocks away which is confusing for ordering the ride. Also it is at the top of a hill - a lot of windy narrow streets which means taxis don't like this area and it takes forever to get anywhere due to traffic. if you walk to the grocery store it's a short walk down but coming back is 200+ stairs back up the hill. The elevator in the grocery store was broken during my stay.

Beautiful location. Very cute apartment. Good to know that cabs/private cars cannot reach up to the apartment, and will drop off at a spot about 5 minutes away on foot. The area is steep uphills, then again so is most of central Lisbon!

Wir kannten die Umgebung und die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Online Check in vorab. Schlüssel gab es nebenan. Parkplätze im Parkhaus in der Nähe. Bus ist zwar laut aber ansonsten wusste man worauf man sich einlässt. Wir mochten es.

Location: very good, in the Alfama district within walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and mini mercados. Also within a few minutes walk from many of the popular viewpoints (miradouros). But you can tell this whole area has been turned from locals' residences to tourist hotels and rentals, sadly. But the area felt very safe. Room: we had the bedroom with kitchen. Rooms were clean and beds were firm but comfy enough. Kitchen was nice and stocked with silverware, cups and plates, cutlery and pans. Had working mini espresso machine, hot water boiler, and microwave. Would have been nice if they had some paper towels. Bathroom: very small and though it looked fancy and nice, this brought us a lot of annoyance. It has a glass screen that didn't extend the whole way so water splashed everywhere. And the tile used in the shower was slippery when wet. I almost fell. Shower had hot water but it quickly ran out and got cold, so you had to wait a while for the water to heat up again. Noise: this was the other big problem for us. They warned us there was no sound proofing but we didn't realize how bad it would be. You could hear all the people walking and talking right outside, the buses and cars and trash trucks going by. Definitely bring ear plugs. Communication: ok/poor. They communicated with us via WhatsApp and when they did it they were courteous but they did not get back to us quickly initially. Overall, our stay was just ok. We couldn't wait to leave.

Great stay for a weekend

The apartment was clean and spacious. Easy check-in and good location - bit loud outside in the morning but you’ll survive.

Check in process is very restrictive and confusing. If your plane is late you need to find somewhere else to stay. Restaurant staff where you collect the key weren’t very helpful. Needed cash for the tax and to use their expensive ATM to get it. Waiter was rude. Hot and no a/c.

Prior to the check in I send numerous messages to the person who is supposed to be available..No response at all. Tried calling..also nothing. I arrived without any idea if I can check in there. There is no reception..the keys are given by the nearby store, but cant imagine what you do when they are closed. The place is great, but it is SUPER NOISY. There is a restaurant below the building which closes late. The apartments are ok.. but quite basic..

What an amazing location in Alfama, steps from the Castello, but easy to walk to the major sites along the river. Mafalda the back door manager gave us perfect directions from the airport. The apartment was perfe t for the two of us. We stayed three nights, but 2 more would have been better . We woukd definitely stay again
