Quiet and clean. Hotel staff were very accommodating. It is close to the Alfama district and it was a nice walk if you don't mind hills and heat. Also, less than a mile to restaurant and shopping area in Chiado and Baixa areas.

Four days In Lisbon

The accommodation is very centrally located, the room is very small but clean , seems expensive but I think you’re paying for the location, the train station is a five minute walk and the tram and hop on/ off buses just around the corner x

Location is awesome for the price. Overall clean. The toilet seat was awful (they cleaned it or changed it on the second day, without us asking) and the air handler worked poorly making the nights somewhat hot. The place is superb during the day but does becomes seedy at nighttime and becomes male dominated.

This could have been a nice stay, the room was ok and very clean, but in all Alfama the location was the worse. Moniz square is taken by immigrants. They are in the hundreds, sleep there. Unsafe.

I really enjoyed my stay at City Inn; I liked that it was located on a side residential/commercial street. It made me feel a part of the neighborhood experience. Check in was a breeze (I came in late and thus kept up communication with Sara who was great!) and the room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The staff cleaned the room daily and everything was spic-n-span! I loved the French style doors to step out and watch the neighborhood. City Inn is close to Martim Monez square, the famous Tram 28 and the tram to Belem. The metro (easy to navigate once you get the hang of it) is just two blocks away. I highly recommend City Inn!

I would definitely stay there again. The location is fantastic. The unit is modern, clean and comfortable. The check-in was easy. I rang the bell at the front of the building, and a friendly person checked me in. I like that the door to the building opens with your keycard. It made me feel safe. I will note that I'm a solo traveler so I was by myself in the unit. I'm unsure how it would be with two occupants, as this particular unit is on the small side. There may be bigger ones available. All that to say, I definitely recommend it.

We arrived early Sunday morning, the manager already contacted us that he will be waiting for us so he can give us the access card for the Hotel/building and our room. I was surprised to find that City Inn looked like a brand new 5-story hotel building, new rooms, secured doors, new windows, new modern elevator, silent AC, plush bed and pillows, TV, bathroom. The hotel/Inn is located near/below St. George Castle. There are lots of Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese restaurants near by (we truly recommend “Aagan” Napalese/Indian restaurant.) The people/residents around the hotel are just super friendly- the area is completely safe day or night. We changed our dollars at Unicâmbio - Praça da Figueira. We used Uber frequently.

The property was good, great location 1 issue my wife got 3 bed bug bites on the first night ,she told me that the bug were bites were bed bugs 4 days later we looked on line and sure enough , if I had know about these bed bites I would have insisted on leaving that room , lack of communication on our part , I sent an email to them to bring it to their attention to have the room fumigated or what ever they do to rid them, loved the place but very disappointed, at 145 euros a night should be better

Our checkin was good. Agent arrived just as we exited our taxi. Having an elevator in an older building was a plus. The room was clean , quiet but quite spartan on amenities. Someone had forgotten to turn up the water heater so cool shower our first night, but a quick response to my call the next morning. Great coffee and breakfast spot right across the street.

The price is ridiculous expensive for the type of hotel. Tiny room, only one towel, not front desk, not complementary water. They person who took my payment, which is also the housekeeper, was very nice. Not visible sign outside of the building, it took me a while to find the hotel. The pictures in the website is not what is the reality. I was thinking to also file for partial refund because was overpriced. Very deceiving.
