"This hotel delivers exactly what it says it does. Clean, cool, spacious, quiet rooms, secure parking. Well furnished and equipped. Close to the tram if you don’t want to walk to and from town. Close to Les Halles and the excellent Bassins Lumieres and Cite du Vin. Perfect for our family of adults and teenagers."

"Brilliant location, very walkable with great transport links. Room was basic but clean-it did have an unusual smell tho. Breakfast had reasonable variety but was so busy, often no tables for a while."

"Property is located very close to a tram stop which makes access to and from the train station a breeze! Room and hotel were well maintained. Appreciated the ability to self serve fresh water each day and staff were always very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful historic building in the heart of Bordeaux. We had been traveling for 24 hours and were exhausted when we arrived. The lovely young lady at check-in upgraded our room! The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. We just stayed overnight before our river cruise and will be staying again at the end of the cruise. We look forward to another stay. I highly recommend this property."

"The hotel was very nice and clean , pool was good , very comfortable sitting in the bar area . Also very easy to walk to lots of shops and restaurants by just following the tram line . It’s only about a 10 minute walk and very easy with the water view"

"Nous avons malheureusement dû quitter l’hôtel très tôt le matin en raison de l’évacuation ordonnée par les autorités à cause des incendies de forêt. Cette situation était évidemment totalement indépendante de la volonté de l’hôtel. Le personnel est resté calme, professionnel et serviable dans des circonstances exceptionnelles. Nous sommes surtout reconnaissants d’avoir pu quitter les lieux en toute sécurité. Nous souhaitons à toute l’équipe beaucoup de courage et espérons que l’activité de l’hôtel pourra reprendre normalement très bientôt. Merci et bon courage à toute l’équipe du Novotel Bordeaux Mérignac. P.S. Nous reviendrons… et cette fois, nous profiterons aussi du petit-déjeuner ! 😊"
