"I actually asked to talk to the manager so that I could COMPLIMENT the hotel. I stay in Marinette a few times each year and this hotel has become my "go-to" place to stay. The staff is genuinely friendly; the rooms I've stayed in are spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast is pretty darn good, too. I travel a lot throughout the year and I stay in dozens of hotels. This one is at the top of my list. This was my 3rd time staying with them and I've had wonderful experiences each time....

"The check in was contactless and very easy to use. The room was small but well appointed and very clean. The property was quiet and well situated to amenities in Algoma and near one of the two highways that take you further north into Door County. I liked it because I didn't want to be in the hustle and bustle of Door County proper."

"The place is just really outdated. Our room has a smell that we could not make out. But it served the purpose. We were gone most of the day and returned to retire for the evening. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Nothing to write home about but we appreciate it. My friend made a comment about the yogurt just sitting in a big bowl. Should have been packed in a small container, on a bed of ice. We liked the tiki bar. So nice just sitting there watching the dock and the bridge. A relaxing...

"Was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of lake Michigan every night and have a lil balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast was heavy but I watched the hosts prepare a special breakfast for another guest with a gluten intolerantence so they are flexible. You can also take breakfast in your room if you don't feel like being social in the morning. This is a gem of a place and definitely worth the money. I wanna come back and stay in the room with a hot tub The location is close to door county...

"Although the price was a little high, we did get a beautiful place to stay with a living room and bedroom. We also had a jacuzzi tub that was pretty cool. The view was not great, but to upgrade it would have cost twice as much. The property was beautiful and we got to walk around and there was a lot to see. We ate at Sonny's and it was great. We loved it."
