"The property is very nice and the room was clean and well supplied. Housekeeping is only every 3 or 4 nights so I had to go seek out more coffee but otherwise had all I needed. The walls are thin and I could hear all my neighbors, next to me, above me and below which was surprising given how nice it was. The bed was very comfortable. They had a steamer which was awesome but I only noticed it after using the iron. Nice touch though!! The front desk people were not very friendly but the bartender was. The pool is nice."

"Location is fantastic- across the street is a BART rail stop. There are restaurants as well if you do not choose Embassy Grill for evening meals. Breakfast has plenty of options to choose from and a great way to start your day. Happy Hour and complimentary well drinks from 5:30-7:00, at least when I recently stayed there- shoutout to bartender Marcus B. who made some nice cocktails. If you drive and have a vehicle, perhaps the only complaint I could see is the daily rate fee. 34$ for self-parking seems a bit too steep. Stayed for work trip and would stay again."

"We had a wonderful overall stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food from their restaurant was excellent. It truly was the perfect place to spend the night after catching a concert at Shoreline. The only downside was that there was frost tape covering our entire window due to ongoing exterior maintenance work, and we could see people working outside. While the service and amenities were fantastic, it felt like the full room price wasn't completely warranted when we couldn't even see out our window. If management offers a discount or a room away from the construction during this time, it would easily be a 5-star experience. I would definitely stay here again once the exterior work is finished!"

"This stay was to allow for us to be close to the 1/2 marathon. The hotel is beautiful, a very unique, older hotel. The check in was seamless and the valets were amazing! The room was small, but laid out well and the ac was perfect for the hot weather. It was a pleasure to have a fridge in the room. I did find morning desk staff to be less friendly than the wonderful afternoon person who checked us in, however, they were efficient. If we get back to San Jose, would definitely stay again."
