"It was very convenient for Haydock Park races, parking available and a 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming and managed to have a room ready beforecwe set off for the races."

"I personally really loved the area, it was quite easy to get around by car or walking. The hotel is located inside a small village, the area around it is very nice, green and quiet. The staff was great and friendly, the food was okay, but the infrastructure of the hotel most definitely needs an update. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way.
