"My room was gorgeous and perfect for the work day I had planned. The service was not what you would expect at a 4 diamond/4 star hotel. I was given the Hotels $20 meal credit and told I could use it on room service. Called room service multiple times and just kept getting busy signals. Called the Front Desk and also just kept getting busy signals. Finally called the resort from my cell phone and someone picked up. I was told that the only restaurant serving room service closed early that evening. No guidance or help, just that information. After inquiring I learned that the only food available was at a restaurant at the other end of the resort. I could not find the phone number for this restaurant anywhere; needed to call back and have the front desk person connect me. Ordered, made the long walk there and back, and discovered in my room that they had not given me what I had ordered. There was no way I was going to walk all the way back to fix it.
The next day morning just before 9am there was a fire drill for the hotel staff - was thankful that I had not planned to sleep in. I was able to use the meal credit for breakfast, though they had run out of the item I wanted. Anyway, the room was gorgeous and perfect, which was what mattered most to me."
