"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. "

"The room we were allocated was very dated and tired. The mattress was old, sagging and not comfortable. The bathroom was equally poor with black mould on the paintwork, loose loo roll holder, insufficient loo paper for two guests over two nights and not restocked! The drench shower was right over the bath tap controls and not thermostatically controlled. My wife nearly got scalded trying to adjust the over bath shower. "Lovely place to stay! We stayed for a night, perfect room for our family of 4 for our quick stopover. Breakfast was included too, which was a lovely selection of cereals and a fry up. Parking was easy. Tea/coffee in the room too. Great stopover we had, thank you."

"Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. Luckily there were only 2 of us but we did want separate beds. Other than that, one of the most clean and well presented rooms I’ve seen. Very friendly staff."

Very creaky rooms, I could hear the next-door people quite clearly walking about on the squeaky floorboards and even talking.
