View across sheep grazing land towards farms on the Llanfechell-Mynydd Mechell road The two farms are Bwchanan (centre) and Tyddyn y waen (homestead of the marshy land) on the right. In the 18thC, Bwchanan was the seat of John Bulkeley, the chief agent of the Bulkeleys of Baron Hill, Beaumaris. His wife, Bridget, was a sister to two Viscounts.
