Disappointed the shower in our room would not work so had to use the bath not ideal when you like a morning shower. "Great welcome from the staff Room was spacious , clean and well presented. It's an old period pub/hotel so the shower room.eas compact but all perfectly fine. Bed was really comfortable and although my room was close to the road I wasn't disturbed at all through the night. I ate in the pub and the food was excellent, couldn't fault the service or the meal. I had the steak for main course and brownie for desert - amazing! Would definitely stay again if in the area Didn't have time to...

"THE BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB A FULL ENGLISH WITH TOAST AND JAM, JUICE COFFEE/TEA CEREAL. THE EVENING MEAL WAS "HUGE" TWO MASSIVE SLICES OF GAMMON WITH SKIN ON FRIES TWO EGGS AND SALAD. WELL IMPRESSED. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS "WE WERE UPGRADED TO A LARGE DOUBLE" AND TEA/COFFEE LAID ON WAS A NICE TOUCH. THE OWNERS WERE REALLY NICE, AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES TO US APOLOGIZING FOR THE WORKMEN WORKING ON THEIR ALARM SYSTEM.
