Mike/Mick (night porter) was also friendly and helpful. Great view from dining room over the gardens. We had a four poster bed but found it uncomfortable. The bedroom was lovely and the spa bath was great. A short walk to the High Street where there were a number of pubs if you didn't want to stay in the hotel. "

Shout out to the lady who made me a coffee - without asking, when I was working on my laptop in the bar area - very thoughtful - it was appreciated. Reasonably priced evening meal - though small portions were huge! Lovely breakfast, with choice from 3 cooked as well as cereals and toast. Lovely stay. "
