"A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality. "Very poor space for bar and food. Room clean but lack of desk chair to use with table. Breakfast hit and miss."

"Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. "

"Extremely pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and warm as was the en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of various tea and coffee sachets available in addition to milks and sweeteners etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked to liking. Although I had no problem parking, the car park is small with limited street parking opposite, which potentially could be an issue during busy periods. Overall, staying at The Talbot was an excellent experience. "

"Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands"
