"Stayed in a superior pod, very contemporary, comfortable, clean, and well insulated from the weather with lovely views of the loch and mountains. Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too."

"A nuisance having to collect the key from another hotel rather than the Inn that's on the doorstep. Occupants moving about in the room above were very audible and disturbing our sleep late night. There seems no sound proofing in the floor"

"Wonderful amenities, beautiful property, and high quality food at The Cameron House. The spa, pool, and gym are the nicest that I’ve seen in Scotland. The food is exceptional particularly the dinners and breakfast at The Cameron Grill, and the Great Scots Bar is a wonderful setting. Rooms v well appointed as well. "

"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again."

"Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . "Overall, poor standard of accommodation for £140 per night. Cleanliness and maintenance standards were very low. Had to ask for a move of room as couldnt even open the windows in our room. 2nd room was marginally better, st least we could get some fresh air!"

"Staff went above and beyond for my mother who was poorly- they drove for her prescription for an hour there and an hour back and checked in on her all the time. I have never known staff to be so considerate and friendly. They alone are worth coming back to this hotel for. Thank you. "

"Went for two nights. Room was ok. TV was left on and remote didn't work at all. We had to ask about 4 times for bath towels. Also key card apparently get erased when closed to the phone which is ok but someone could tell us earlier to save me 5 trips to reception and 5th time lady seem very annoyed about it. Breakfast were just mediocre as everything was cold, not even warm, cold. And if you are vegetarian I hope you like boxed cereal. But building was very nice, warm with loads of characters....
