"Disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were a little unwelcoming and the service was not great. A beautiful location but this was let down by terrible parking, poor facilities and attention to detail that wasn’t there!!!! The spa was poor with an outlook to a wall!! The room was also disappointing with hair on my pillow and uncomfortable cheap pillows. I was very much looking forward to this stay but was very disappointed."

"Nice big room, comfy bed. Helpful staff, was able to store my luggage. Cold water dispensers on every level. Handy to shops and public transport. Plenty of parking. Nice outside seating area."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of food on offer for breakfast. We had an evening meal too which was lovely. We were lucky with the weather so we made use of the outside pool. We visited here as it was my birthday I received a card and shortbread on arrival lovely personal touch thank you."

"If a town has a Moxy then that's where I will stay. They are so cool and like all of them, this one has a lovely big bar and seating area in the foyer. The rooms are great and everything works. And the staff all seem to love their work and are helpful and friendly. Top class."

"Loved the fact my partner and I had a double bed each in the same room. We need single beds but to find the room had 2 doubles giving us a fabulous sleep was a bonus. We were visiting friends so cannot comment on other aspects of the hotel as out for most of the time. Great position, walking to the Barbican was easy too."

"We had a lovely stay at China Fleet Club. The staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we arrived, but after reporting the issue it was fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated. I also had a massage during our stay, and Emma was wonderful – very professional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return."

"Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

"Went for wedding, was astonished at the route from hotel foyer to venue, especially with so many people attending. Found dining room food uninspired and breakfast cool even early."

"The room was not cleaned to high standard, the corners and edges in the shower room were dusty and stained. It’s a shame as the place is new and will depreciate quickly if not kept up to good standards. The room is really nice and a very comfortable bed, we slept so well. My partner loved the telly! Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Cannot fault them. Breakfast was disappointing, a lot of food but blunt and not inspiring! Car park is more expensive as compared to little hotels nearby costing...

"We only stayed one night but we can honestly say the Hotel was above our expectations the staff were friendly and welcoming our room was spacious clean and beautifully decorated and quiet. The breakfast was freshly cooked that we pre ordered last night and delicious much better the the buffet style.There was plenty of choice of cereals fresh fruit salad yoghurts and a hot drinks machine.
