The front office staff was very helpful in getting my room for me when the reservation could not be found. My only request would be to leave the sign lit a little while longer. I was late checking in (close to midnight) and not being familiar with the area, I could not see the place until I was right up on it.

I felt like i was staying in a room back in the 1940's. It was old out dated and nothing to offer I WILL NEVER stay there again.

Older hotel, don't let the outside fool you, room was spotlessly clean. Room service changed out towels daily. Bed was very comfortable and the neighbors were quiet.

The area was nice and convenient, everything was less than a mile away. Room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Front seat clerk was awesome. I would recommend this place.

Wonderful stay. My only complaint is I had to pay a 35.00 fee for misplaced key to my room.

While the rooms looked very tired and the furniture was well used the bed was very comfortable, the shower had tons of pressure, the room smelled great walking in and best of all was the price. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Here's a breakdown of what I observed at the Whit's Inn during my one night stay. Bubbling drywall / paint all over the walls. Be sure to ask for extra towels... Not because you're going to enjoy yourself and want to extend your stay, but because the shower curtain didn't have a liner, so water passed right through the curtain and flooded the floor outside the tub. Speaking of the tub... It was extremely slippery, and I almost fell when I tried to step in to take a shower. I had to make use of the grab bar at the shower end of the tub just to keep from falling. There was an extremely musty smell throughout the room, which permeated the sheets, pillows and blanket. The chest of drawers for storing your clothes smelled like it had just come from being stored in someone's damp basement for the past 20 years, and put in the room without being cleaned. Overall I would definitely not use this motel again, but would spend my money on a BRB, use VRBO or drive two towns over to find a better facility.

Great stay

The hotel was very good. We were very happy to stay here. The room was recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The only issues we had were the kids from across the way were very noisy and they started acting up again the next morning

Exceeded expectations

I can't say it's a luxury hotel but I suddenly needed a room during the Thanksgiving holiday and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not beautiful but it's comfortable. I just needed a place to sleep, and for that I have no complaints.

Mostly a permanent resident hotel; although this was not a problem. Staff friendly and room clean. Mattress very firm, which my wife likes; me, not so much. Pictures make it look like it's on top of a hill, and imply a view of Stone Mountain, whereas it's actually right in the middle of the city. Overall an acceptable stay.
