Pros: Very convenient to Paddington station. Quiet area The hotel was very clean. Our room looked fairly modern and renovated recently. There was a hot cooked breakfast daily (English style breakfast, cereals, cheeses, fresh fruit and pastries), but the variety never changed. Cons: The carpets have seen better days, and are a tripping hazard, especially on the stairs. We stayed on 3rd floor which meant having to haul our luggage up half a flight of stairs as the lift did not reach the ground floor. Very inconvenient if you have heavy bags. The hallway and our room had plug in air fresheners, which triggered multiple asthma attacks. The air freshener in our room was hidden under the desk, and not visible. There was no instructions on how to turn on the bathroom fan for post shower ventilation. It was unclear if the bathroom even had a fan.

Nice quiet and clean hotel. Walkable to Paddington and nearby tube stations. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and stay here again.

This is a very old hotel. The room was quite small with two twin beds. The bathroom was updated and very clean. Again it was very small. This hotel was very accommodating and ordered taxi service when we needed it. We enjoyed our stay here.
