This was a complete bait and switch from either Expedia or the hotel. The room I selected was not the room I was given. Incredibly difficult to get a live person on the phone. Will never stay here. AVOID.
I landed at 7:55 a.m. and arrived at the hotel around 11 a.m., yet check‑in was only available from 3 p.m. Dragging a 29‑inch suitcase and a 24‑inch suitcase together with my three children, I felt utterly frustrated — why is check‑in not until 3 p.m.! Then the property manager came over. After talking with me, she allowed me to leave my luggage in the storage room so I could take the children out for food. She was really kind.
When I returned after 3 p.m., I collected the keys and got into the apartment. I was genuinely blown away by how wonderful the place is. The three children could sleep, play and wash without disturbing one another. The apartment was spotless and well‑equipped, especially the kitchen facilities, which were excellent.
As it was the Mid‑Autumn Festival, we cooked a meal with friends in the apartment and enjoyed a lovely celebration. What is also great is that this is not a basement‑level unit. There is a Costco Express downstairs, which is extremely convenient, and Chalk Farm Underground Station is just a five‑minute walk away.
All in all, it has been a perfect stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
