Beds, towels, and bathroom were all clean, but the bedroom carpet was filthy and I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. "They forgot to clean our room the second night we were there so we had dirty towels in our room all day garbage, and had to go to the desk to get stuff for the next day cause we were checking out. The front desk, staff apologize, but we were not compensated at all."

"Property was very clean. Location is fantastic especially with Rothman's steakhouse across the parking lot. It's a great price and a historic building. Bert Bacharach former hotel. There is no pool or breakfast but can't beat the price. Also, great bagel shop across the streat."

"The staff was accommodating to our schedule. We didn’t have any issues checking in or out. Room and common areas were well maintained. The Smith-9th St sub station is a 10-15 minute walk and never felt unsafe passing through at all hours. Will definitely come back to this hotel for future NYC trips."

"The room was ready, clean and comfortable. Rather large. Air conditioning in room did not seem to work. Got s little warm overnight. Elevators had outages which led to some small waits. Casino was fun. All employees (check in, cleaning staff, casino staff and bistro) were friendly and helpful."

"The only good thing that I can say about this place was it was in a convenient area. Bathroom floor was dirty. The hot water runs out at night..The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. And it was super loose. Bed pillows were the size of accessory pillows that would come with a comforter set. Lobby smelled of body odor. Was supposed to stay a second time on the back end of a trip, but decided to cancel after this first experience. Cannot recommend."

"Overall a good clean hotel literally steps away from public transit (buses and trains). The staff was perfect - zero complaints!! The surrounding neighborhood is interesting. There are several good restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. One small complaint - the door to the room had a pretty big gap at the bottom so you kind of hear everything going on in the hallway. Luckily the other guests around weren’t noisy. If I go back to Brooklyn I would probably stay there again"
