"I really liked this hotel and location. My only "complaint" would be that there was no way to control the air temperature in the room. I like to sleep a bit cooler and it was hot. No ventilation and only opening the window were options. Also, there were stairs from the lobby to the hall to the elevator which is hard with heavy bags. Hot water seemed to be finicky as well. "Well located on water and rt next to the north end. Large rooms with water views. One significant complaint: Similar to a number of hotels built in recent years, the toilet is behind an opaque door, and there is no fan, so there is a lack of privacy in my opinion. There was no reason for this; a solid wood door could be there. How any designer or builder could believe this makes sense is a mystery to me

"The location is amazing! It's just 3 blocks from the Boston Public Library & Trinity Cathedral, 2 landmarks worth seeing. It is located in a brownstone with charming rooms that feature fireplaces (not in use) & convenient kitchenettes, all kept very clean. The staff is very helpful & instructions for self check-in are easy. However, if you are handicapped or have tons of luggage, t's a no-go because there is no elevator. "

"The interior of the Dagny Hotel is sophisticated and modern, but with an old world charm. The staff is incredibly friendly and go the extra mile.
The only downside would be the building’s renovation. I know it’s temporary, but it was so loud that it woke me up in the early hours of the morning. If you are an early riser the construction may not bother you. Hopefully, the renovations are completed soon."

"Rooms are very small but functional. Tight for 2 people to move around. Shower was tight ...maybe just under 3x3. Front desk and restaurant staff were amazing. Had the room cleaned one day but the lady left all of our used coffee cups which ended up filling up our garbage to overflowing pretty quick.
You're really paying for a great location right in the heart of historic Boston. Easy walk to any of the sights and restaurants. "
