"The property was set in a lovely, peaceful location and was immaculately clean. Gemma was very helpful, and also gave us some ideas of local places to visit, pointing us towards the local beaches, pubs and farm shop. Parking was on site and it was nice to be visited by the resident peacocks! The one thing that we would add, is that although there are no cooking facilities, perhaps adding a little mini fridge to put in cheese, butter, meet etc to make a sandwich (or keep a drink in) and a chopping board and bread knife, might be a good idea. That said, we were kept well topped up with coffee and tea. If we stay in that area of Cornwall again, we would certainly consider staying at Coombe Farm."

"We spent just an amazing and relaxing stay at Trehaven Manor. Ella is the most wonderful and caring host we have ever met. This is simple, we felt we were friends invited to her lovely home, as opposed to be customers. Ella has always tons of recommendations for visits or restaurants and always anticipate our needs or questions with special attentions. Our room was charming, quiet and enjoying a beautiful view over the Looe river. We slept like babies while we could not remember last time we slept in one go. The breakfast was incredible, freshly cooked on order. The location is very convenient: the property benefits from an onsite free parking for the guests. It is close enough to the city center so this is walkable and far enough to be quiet at night. A detail but this is rare enough to mention it: the wifi is excellent. Thank you so much, Ella!"

"We had the King room on the 2nd floor. And whilst it didn't have a view, the room was really comfy with a small sofa, window seat and even a dressing table. Breakfast was really tasty - great choice and friendly service."

"Lovely property to explore Looe & Polperro. The sea view is beautiful and right on your doorstep. The breakfast is yummy with lots of different choice. The owner is really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Free parking outside as well which is a great bonus!"

"Steep stairs getting to the guest house but that wasn’t a problem for us. Guest house itself was just what we needed clean, staff were great, very friendly, food was lovely. only downside for us was the wifi wasn’t very good as we were on the top floor room seven. Overall experience very good."
